We answered

Thank you for your email received by us on 2 March 2017 asking for information about the A10 bus route’s scheduled and recorded departure times from Uxbridge Station, incidents of cancellations cancelled and volume of formal complaints received about the service and its route.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold the information you require. You asked for the following:

the A10 bus - departs Uxbridge station, and terminates Heathrow Central. I would like information relating to all scheduled and recorded departure times from Uxbridge station. I would also like to see all incidences when this bus was cancelled,

Attached is the most recent finalised performance data for the A10 bus listing the daily scheduled and actual departures from Uxbridge Station from 6 February 2010 to March 2017 at all times.

Please note the following abbreviations and keynotes:

UX – Uxbridge
MT – Metroline
SD – Single decker

Trip – A bus journey consists of two trips, with one in each direction. Trips are sequentially recorded; Trip 1 departing from Uxbridge Station becomes Trip 2 when leaving Heathrow Central Bus Station.

Symbol >> No entry added for this section of the trip as the bus was curtailed in the other direction.

This symbol is only shown at the first stop given that if a bus journey is cut short then it is the only stop that would definitely be missed out. For example, a bus may have encountered heavy traffic on its way to Uxbridge and be instructed to turn around at an earlier stop prior to its destination. The bus would then be reported as entering service on the Heathrow Central trip. The first stop is marked with “>>”, and proceeding stops will have a coded reference for the trip being cut short, for example Traffic Delay related curtailment reference TR01.

We also publish bus performance data at: https://tfl.gov.uk/corporate/publications-and-reports/bus-schedules

and an indication of the volume of formal complaints received regarding the A10 bus and its route.

Our Customer Services database has 208 complaints concerning the A10 bus between 1 April 2014 to 24 March 2017, concerning the route and service performance. We have also received 22 Twitter complaints about the A10 route between 9 October 2016 to 24 March 2017.
