Thank you for your email received by us on 19 November 2017 asking for information about Transport for London (TfL) licensed private hire drivers with a Cardiff address.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act and our information access policy. You asked

Please could you let me know the amount of TfL licensed private hire drivers that have a Cardiff address (CF postcode) as of the following 2 dates -
19/11/17
And
01/01/16

Unfortunately, we do not hold the information you have requested as the data produced is constantly refreshed with updated information, thereby overwriting the old data in the process. Consequently, it cannot be retrieved and backdated for these dates.

However, I can advise that on 29 November 2017, there were 72 London licensed private hire drivers with a Cardiff address.
