TfL Ref: FOI-2258-1920

Thank you for your further email of 24th October 2019 asking for information about non goods vehicles fined in the Rotherhithe tunnel since July 2019.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.

Specifically you asked:

You are querying the DVLA database, but do not get the vehicle type in return? N1 for light goods vehicle, N2 for above 3.5 tons. My request is about the number of fines for vehicles from the M1 type.

If you cannot give this breakdown, can you give me the number of fines issued for:

BMW M6

Range Rover

Land Rover Discovery Sport

LEVC TX

All of these above the 2m wide limit and regularly spotted in the tunnel.

As advised in our response of 24th October 2019 (our ref: FOI 2106-1920), we do not hold the data by vehicle type, but only by make and model. Please see the attached spreadsheet which provides information regarding vehicles issued Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) by vehicle make/model, as registered with the DVLA (note that you may need to expand the width of the columns to read the data in full). We have not issued any penalties to the LEVC TXs, and ‘Range Rovers’ are listed under the model of ‘Land Rover’ as they are owned by Land Rover.

If this is not the information you are looking for, or if you are unable to access it for any reason, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal as well as information on copyright and what to do if you would like to re-use any of the information we have disclosed.

Yours sincerely,
