You asked

Under the returns of the FOI , can I please ask for the following information . The total cost for the year 2017-2018 of the London Underground revenue control dept. This includes wages , admin , management and general . For the record . I am not asking for any personal info, any specific grade wages or sensitive info. Just the total cost of the running of the dept . I am also not requiring any info about any other TFL inspector dept ( ie DLR or buses ) Just the LUL revenue control dept .

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 22 November 2018 asking for information about the annual running costs of the London Underground revenue control department for 2017/18.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold the information you require. You asked for ‘the total cost for the year 2017-2018 of the London Underground revenue control dept. This includes wages , admin , management and general’.

The figure for year 2017/18 is £12.1m which includes payroll for all revenue control staff including the management team.
