Hello! I'm interested to get a CD of the Waterloo and City Announcements, with the voice work of Emma. The reason why I requested to use the announcement is that it is possible to remake W&C line from reality, into the game platform (ROBLOX) and is possible to make it detailed as possible. With the announcements, I am able to fit them into the current W&C stock which I have made. I am able to finish my remake of W&C line with the announcements.

Thank you for your request of 2^nd February 2021 asking for a CD of Waterloo and City line announcements.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. 

I can confirm that we hold the information you require. However, the information is exempt from release under section 43(2) of the Freedom of Information Act (the exemption relating to prejudice of commercial interests). In this instance, the exemption has been applied as disclosure would be likely to prejudice the commercial interests of TfL. The contract with the company that provides the announcements specifies that the recordings are solely to be used for the purpose for which they were created and for broadcast on the London Underground network only. If TfL were to disclose these recordings in response to an FOI request, it would constitute an actionable breach of contract and would be likely to result in a valid legal claim against London Underground or the license to use the recordings being withdrawn, which would impose additional, unnecessary, costs. TfL wishes to protect its commercial interests and ability to participate in future commercial activity. The disclosure of this information would be to the detriment of present and future business activities for both parties, and we consider the overall public interests rests in the exemption applying for these reasons. Note that the only London Underground announcements we are free to release are those for the Northern, Jubilee and Piccadilly lines - although note that at present, with home-working in place across much of TfL including the FOI team - we do not have access to the necessary equipment to produce CDs.
