Please can you tell me the following: 1) The total cost of the Temorary C9 built in 2020 between Heathfield Terrace in Chiswick and Goldhawk Road 2) The cost of the changes to Temporary C9 approved by LB Hounslow in summer 2021 between Heathfield Terrace and Chiswick Lane (yet to be implemented), and 3) Does the £3.3m cost of the changes to Temporary Cycleway 9 between Chiswick Lane and Goldhawk Road (released in a prior FOI request) include the value of the London plane tree that was cut down (which I believe to be about £97,000). Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 17 December 2021 asking for information about the costs of temporary Cycleway 9.

Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy. I can confirm that we do hold some of the information you require.
 
  1. The total cost of the Temporary C9 built in 2020 between Heathfield Terrace in Chiswick and Goldhawk Road
The total construction cost of the Temporary C9 scheme built in 2020 on Chiswick High Road between Heathfield Terrace and Goldhawk Road was £600k.
 
  1. The cost of the changes to Temporary C9 approved by LB Hounslow in summer 2021 between Heathfield Terrace and Chiswick Lane (yet to be implemented),
TfL has not yet finalised costs with contractors for the works to the section between Heathfield Terrace and Chiswick Lane  We will only know the final total cost for construction of this section once the scheme it has been fully constructed.  
 
3) Does the £3.3m cost of the changes to Temporary Cycleway 9 between Chiswick Lane and Goldhawk Road (released in a prior FOI request) include the value of the London plane tree that was cut down (which I believe to be about £97,000).   
      Yes, the total cost covers the removal of the tree, and it also includes planting of 10 new trees.
