You asked
Dear TfL
Whilst pleased that the 349 is to be replaced by the 259 north of Edmonton Green, once again providing Ponders End a service to central London, the believes that a countdown should also be provided for Nightingale Road, Bus Stop LB. It is also an important interchange for the 259, 279 and 191 and we are unsure why it was missed from page from the list below found in page 25 of the attached document.
Also, we are concerned that the merger of the services does not result in reduced service.
For example, the 349 starts earlier and the 259 finishes later. Also, 349 frequency is peak until midnight whereas the 259 has a reduction in frequency in the late evening. Do you have any draft timetables please so we can look at them? Please treat this request under EIA regulations.
349 259
First Southbound 04:05 04:55
Last Southbound 00:05 00:41
First Northbound 04:35 04:55
Last Northbound 00:43 00:41

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 23 November 2022 asking for information about draft timetables for the 259 bus. Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.
We do not hold the information you have requested - as you may know the consultation on the Central London Bus Review has now been published and the proposed changes to the 349 and 259 are now not going ahead at this time. We therefore do not hold any new draft timetables for these routes as we would only produce timetables for a route if we were going to implement them. You can read the report and the decision summary using the following link: https://haveyoursay.tfl.gov.uk/busreview.
Please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal.
Yours sincerely
