You asked for the following:Could you please advise if the trial Average Speed Cameras on A2 between the Blackwall Tunnel and Dartford Heath are now fully operational?

It has been in place for many months without no apparent reason
The safety of all road users is something we take very seriously and our overriding focus is to ensure compliance with traffic regulations to improve safety, keep London moving and reduce delays.
I can confirm that the Average Speed Cameras on the A2 between Blackwall Tunnel and Dartford Heath are not yet operational as they are dependant on when the road works for this stretch of A2 are complete.
We shall be issuing a press release advising the public of the scheme’s go live date in the forthcoming months.
