Thank you for your request received by us on 7 January 2021 asking for information about the Congestion Charge scheme’s residents discount.

The following part of your correspondence has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy, whilst we believe the remainder of your questions, which are seeking an explanation about the scheme rather than asking for recorded information, have previously been addressed by our Customer Services team. I can confirm that we hold some of the information you require. You asked:

15) How many applications have been declined since the resident's discount rule changed?

Following the decision to temporarily withdraw the residents discount to new applicants, the facility to submit an application for a new discount was removed from our website. Therefore no new applications have been considered.

16) How many residents have lost the right to their discount since this change was imposed?

We do not record this information.
