Thank you for your email received by us on 21 October 2017 asking for information about the impact of light and/or noise levels on local residents from TfL Rail trains stabled at the sidings on Hunter Avenue.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Environmental Information Regulations and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold some of the information you require.

MTR Crossrail, which runs TfL Rail services on our behalf, has not undertaken any noise or light impact assessments as this is Network Rail’s responsibility. However, I can advise that Network Rail commenced installation of the acoustic fencing on Saturday 28 October 2017, with an expected finish date by early December 2017.
