I would like to know if there are any red light cameras situated outside Stockwell Tube Station and within the area specifically the junction outside the tube station. If so how many? Also i would like to know if there are other traffic enforcement cameras within that junction and the locations. I can see 3 cameras mounted on top of traffic lights on the middle island outside Ladbrooks and would like to know what cameras are these? (Road A3 Clapham Road, leading to Clapham)

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our Information Access Policy. I can confirm we do hold the information you requested. You asked for:

I would like to know if there are any red light cameras situated outside Stockwell Tube Station and within the area specifically the junction outside the tube station. If so how many?

We have one red light camera located on Clapham Road outside Stockwell Underground station on the northbound approach to the junction with Stockwell Road. This is the tall pole with a yellow camera mounted upon it.

Also I would like to know if there are other traffic enforcement cameras within that junction and the locations.

The black tubular cameras mounted on the traffic signal poles outside Ladbrokes on the Clapham Road southbound approach to the junction are Automated Number Plate Recognition Cameras (ANPR) used for the purpose of the journey time monitoring. This equipment allows monitoring of point to point journey times between the fixed locations of the cameras.

There are also CCTV cameras located on the Clapham Road northbound and Stockwell Road approaches to the junction. These cameras may be used for red route traffic enforcement, including of the Clapham Road bus lane.
