For every:
a) manhole explosion
b) in greater London
c) in the last 2 years,
please send me all available:
1. video of the incident, such as CCTV, and 2. reports (criminal, investigative, engineering, damage assessment, risk assessment, insurance, etc), including aggregate reports (e.g.
about multiple such incidents, underlying issues, etc).
Please interpret "explosion" broadly, to include e.g. any incident where a manhole was lifted out of its seating from below by combustion, pressure, or similar forces; flames or significant gas expansion came through the cover (even if not unseated); etc.

Thank you for your request received on 29 October 2018 asking for information about manhole explosions.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act and our information access policy.
We do not hold the information you have requested. The vast majority of these types of incidents are related to utility company assets. In such cases, the relevant utility company would just request a permit number to carry out a repair on a damaged manhole cover.
We believe that the information you have requested may be held by the various utility companies. The London Fire Brigade may also hold some information.
