Thank you for your request received by us on 26 September 2019 asking for information about London Underground’s Central Line Rail Adhesion Train Timings.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold the information you require. You asked for:

the planned timings for Central Line Rail Adhesion Trains numbers 488 (Eastern) & 489 (Western) which will commence operation soon.

As there is no amended Central Line Working Timetable for the Adhesion period so I cannot get this information from the Working Timetables available on the TfL site.

The information for the Rail Adhesion Train Timings on other lines (Piccadilly/Metropolitan) are readily available in the amended working timetables on the Tfl site so I don't believe this information in sensitive.

The purpose of the request is to allow me to photograph the 1959 stock trains that run on trains 488/489 for my own personal interest.

In accordance with TfL’s obligations under Data Protection Legislation, we are not obliged to disclose some personal information in the attached document, as required by section 40(2) of the Freedom of Information Act. This is because disclosure of this personal data would be a breach of the legislation, specifically the first principle which requires all processing of personal data to be fair and lawful. It would not be fair to disclose this personal information when the individuals have no expectation it would be disclosed and TfL has not satisfied one of the conditions which would make the processing ‘fair’. This is an absolute exemption and therefore not subject to a public interest test.
