Request ID: FOI-1895-2425

You asked

Please could you provide the actual numbers (NOT percentages) of the number of car v pedestrian accidents reported on the roads/in the areas where the speed limit was reduced from 30 to 20mph for: a) the 12 months before and after each change in 2023 by road/area b) the 6 months before and after each change in 2024 by road/area Please subtotal the accidents by severity of the injuries reported. It can be presumed this data is available because TfL is frequently quoting the percentage reduction, which can only be determined from the actual figures, as well as using them as "evidence" for further changes.
