Dear Sirs, We write to request inspection records for across from Barwell Kebab Shop, Leatherhead Road, at the junction with Garrison Lane, KT9 2HS from 24/07/2018 to present since we have recently received notification of a personal injury claim arising from a defective chamber cover situated at the above location. We require street inspection records to include, driven surveys, walk- about surveys and any other general maintenance records following incidents arising from the highway, carriageway and / or footpaths at the above location. For completeness we would be grateful if you could also include any notices issued to Virgin Media. Please also advise how often inspections are undertaken along with the method of inspection. We look forward to receiving your prompt response.

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 11 December 2020 asking for information about Leatherhead Road.

Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy. I can confirm that we do hold the information you require.

Please find attached a spreadsheet showing the inspection and defect records for this section of Leatherhead Road that includes the location that you refer to - A243,LEATHERHEAD ROAD,,(FROM BRIDGE RD TO RUSHETT LANE),KT9

This includes all details of safety inspections, defects identified with description, and date, defect type and the repair status. It also include details of defects reported through the public enquiry manager, this can include customer enquiries and issues raised by other third parties.

The safety inspections on this section of Leatherhead Road are carried out using a walking inspection once per month.

The second attachment shows Streetworks Notices, including those for Virgin media.
