Thank you for your request received on 18 November 2021 asking for information about buses.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.
Our electric bus fleet is managed directly by our bus operators and is designed for charging from grid connections, using power upgrades and chargers at bus garages. There may be reasons, such as when buses are being delivered or being tested, when temporary charging may be used but this is the exception. As more than 550 electric vehicles are operated for us under contracts for routes, we do not hold vehicle records on the charging process.
