Dear Mr or Mrs,
I am currently doing a design technology project, I have decided to focus the project on bikes. I have lots of research to do, and i chose to research about rental bikes.
Would it be possible if i would have the number of rental bike accidents.
i have already contacted the police but they said that they do not split car and bike accidents.

Thank you for your emails received by us on 11, 19 and 30 October 2018 asking for information about the number of rental bike accidents for the first six months of 2018.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.
The popularity of Santander Cycles continues to grow with October 2017 being the best month ever, with just under one million hires.
More than 67 million journeys have been made on the bikes since the scheme launched in 2010. It forms a key part of our efforts to get Londoners active.
Please see the attached data for the number of cycle hire accidents from August 2010 to December 2017, which is the most recent data we hold.
