You asked
I'd like to know between March 31st 2021 and 30th September 2021, how travellers paid for journeys on TfL London buses, London Underground, and London Overground services.

Thank you for your request received on 15 November 2021 asking for information about fare payment methods.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm we hold some of the information you require.

Please find the requested information for buses and the London Underground attached. The data shows journeys made between periods 1-7 which covers the time period; 1 April 2021 to 16 October 2021.

London Overground uses a different methodology to calculate journeys (load weigh) which is not dependent on ticket type so we are unable to provide a breakdown by ticket.
