We answered
Dear
TfL Ref: FOI-1814-1819
Thank you for your email received by Transport for London (TfL) on 9 October 2018.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act and our information access policy.
Unfortunately we do not hold the information you have requested. Train frequency has not changed on the Central line since the introduction of Timetable 69, in August 2016. When this was introduced it did change the frequency of services around the Hainault loop, but there have been no amendments since then.
However, we have taken the trains through their heavy overhaul programme to ensure continued safety of the fleet and improve reliability and availability, and this did affect the number of available trains to run the service.
The train maintenance has now been completed and you should note that the availability has improved in recent months.
Please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal.
Yours sincerely
