TfL Ref: FOI-1741-2021
Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 1 December 2020.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold some of the information you require. You asked:
What is the total number of staff (including full time, part time, agency, consultants etc) in TfL’s ‘London Streetspace Programme’ and what is the ‘London Streetspace Programme’s’ capital and revenue budgets for 2019/20 and 2020/21?
The London Streetspace Programme (LSP) is being delivered by both TfL and the 33 London boroughs and within each organisation multiple teams are involved. Within TfL alone, staff from across the business including sponsorship, design, delivery, engagement or engineering have been involved. Furthermore, some staff members that work on the London Streetspace Programme also work on other projects. Therefore it is not possible to translate everyone’s involvement in the programme into a precise number of staff.
We have budgeted a total of £87m from the DfT in 2020-21 for the London Streetspace programme, please see the breakdown table below.
Please note the programme did not exist in 2019/20.
