From the Operator returns for September 2017: How many Uber drivers are registered with another Operator?

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 1 October 2017 asking for information about private hire drivers. Please accept my apologies for the delay in our response.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm we do hold the information you require.

Transport for London (TfL) work with private hire operators to ensure that they provide us with the details of drivers and vehicles they have used to fulfil private hire bookings, or have had available to them to fulfil bookings in a specified period.

From the data provided by licensed operators for the month of September, 6,616 drivers were declared as working or being available to work for Uber London Limited and at least one other licensed operator.

Please note that we are still receiving data from operators for the month of September so this figure is subject to change.
