Our ref: FOI-1681-1920
Thank you for your request received on 4 September 2019 asking for information about our IT services.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our Information Access Policy. I can confirm we do hold some the information you requested. You asked:
Please could you provide the following information regarding your Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system:
1.TfL has recently procured ERP licenses and is expected to add further modules on.
This is statement and not a request for information.
2.When and how do you plan to ask for proposals seeking implementation and support for these licenses?
We have purchased SAP Hana licences, however it is unclear that these are the licences being referred to. These licences are not for further modules.
3.What is the current system integration procurement in progress at TfL?
This question is unclear.
4.Who is the person responsible for your ERP support requirement ? ( HR /Procurement / Finance )? Please provide full name, title and contact information if possible?
ERP support is the responsibility and role of the Head of Technical Services operations.
In accordance with TfL’s obligations under Data Protection legislation we are not obliged to provide personal information, as required by section 40(2) of the FOI Act. This is because disclosure of this personal data would be a breach of the legislation, specifically the first principle which requires all processing of personal data to be fair and lawful. It would not be fair to disclose this personal information when the individuals have no expectation it would be disclosed and TfL has not satisfied one of the conditions which would make the processing ‘fair’.
If this is not the information you are looking for, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal.
Yours sincerely,
