Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 20 August 2024 asking for information about the ULEZ scrappage scheme.
Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Environmental Information Regulations (EIRs) and our information access policy. I can confirm that we do hold the information you require.
On 30 January 2023, the ULEZ Car and Motorcycle scrappage scheme and the ULEZ Van and Minibus scrappage scheme were launched.
The data provided lists the makes and models of passenger cars which have received a grant payment under the Car and Motorcycle scrappage scheme. The data provided will include some applications where the vehicle has been donated to Ukraine as opposed to being scrapped as we are unable to filter these applications out of our data set. Please note, column D in the data provided, shows the count of applications for each make and model.
