We answered

Dear

TfL Ref: FOI-1591-1819

Thank you for your email which we received on 12 September 2018.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.  I can confirm we hold some of the information you require. You asked for:

1. *All* video of me, my partner, and my assailant, from all camera angles available, throughout London Bridge, on 5 September; redacted to the minimum extent required by law.

From the police report, my understanding is that camera 57 is one of the cameras that captured the event.

My request is not limited to that camera, nor to video of the event itself; I request *all* video that includes a view of *any* of the three people named above at *any* time on 5 September at London Bridge, all the way from entrance to exit.

This part of your request has been dealt with separately as a Subject Access request in accordance with the Data Protection legislation.

2. a) *All* TFL, BTP, and other records relating to the incident.

This includes all reports, investigative documents, notes, call recordings, etc., from 5 September until the date you complete this request.

We do not hold this information. This would be held by the British Transport Police (BTP).

b) *All* TFL, BTP, and other records naming me, my partner, or my assailant (whose name is unknown to me).

This has been dealt with separately as a Subject Access request in accordance with the Data Protection legislation.

3. *All* TFL and BTP policy or training documents regarding

* assault, battery, and related crimes;

* visually impaired or blind people;

* when to arrest or prosecute offenses of assault or offenses against visually impaired or blind people; and

* incidents where the accused claims or is determined to have acted without malice (e.g. "just trying to help"), but the victim wishes to obtain legal remedy such as criminal charges.

We don’t have a separate training material specifically for dealing with assaults towards visually impaired or blind people, however I have attached all relevant documents we hold in relation to the training of frontline staff.

Frontline staff have a key role in helping to prevent and deal with crime on the transport system. We actively encourage staff to report such incidents and to involve the police as necessary through the established channels for reporting and dealing with crime on the network.

We fund the British Transport, Metropolitan and City of London Police to help improve transport safety and security. Further information can be found here https://tfl.gov.uk/corporate/safety-and-security/security-on-the-network/transport-policing?intcmp=2866

4. *All* TFL and BTP records regarding offenses committed against visually impaired or blind people, including unsustained allegations and offenses that the victim has not requested to prosecute.

This includes both records related to specific incidents, and aggregate records (e.g. summaries of incident rates by year).

This includes e.g. executive reports, training documents, reports to supervising authorities, reports of litigation or criminal proceedings, etc.

We do not hold this information. This would be held by the BTP or the MPS for bus related incidents.
