Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 29 September 2022, asking for information about bus route 309.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold the information you require. You specifically asked:

The HCT company, who run the 309 bus route, has recently been taken over by Stagecoach. Stagecoach is in a process of reviewing all acquired routes (309 being one of them) and proposing changes to improve performance as well as engineering side of the operation.
There have not been reduction in service. However, in the week of your request there was no service for the last 309 bus in the mornings due to engineering difficulties, which has since been resolved.
