Can you please confirm if there was a diversion in place on the 06/08/2022 that didn't allow drivers from Marylebone Road (A501) to turn left on to Harley Street. Can you also confirm if the diversion allowed drivers to turn left on to Marylebone High Street instead on that day?

Thank you for your request received by us on 26 September 2022 asking for information about whether there was a road closure in central London.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. You asked:
if there was a diversion in place on the 06/08/2022 that didn't allow drivers from Marylebone Road (A501) to turn left on to Harley Street. Can you also confirm if the diversion allowed drivers to turn left on to Marylebone High Street instead on that day?
Our Network Management Control Centre has found no evidence regarding a restriction of the left turn into either Harley Street or Old Marylebone Road. Whilst there was a demonstration that passed along Oxford Street, we consider it unlikely that there would have been closures at this point in association with this event.
However, as Westminster City Council is the highways authority for Harley Street, rather than Transport for London, TfL may not have been privy to any closure information in this regard, given that our buses do not use this road.
