You asked
Dear Transport for London,
I was wondering if there were Wimbledon station usage figures (entries and exits) available on the Underground, Overground and Tram?
The most recent data from data.london.gov.uk is from 2019 and I was wondering if more recent 2020/2021 figures were available.
The request is for a project I am doing on railway usage and I would prefer it to be in the form of a spreadsheet if possible.
Thanks in advance.

Our ref: FOI-1471-2122/GH
Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 11 October 2021 asking for Wimbledon station usage figures.
Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy. I can confirm that we do hold some of the information you require.
Please find attached a spreadsheet which shows the entries and exits from Wimbledon station for the last 8 weeks (this is all we are able to provide at this time as we only hold data for the last 8 weeks, due to the Oyster data retention period).
Please note:
Counts have been rounded to the nearest 10 and include both Oyster and Contactless Payment Card (CPC) taps It is not possible to separate out results for Wimbledon Underground and National Rail as there is a shared gate line which all customers use Customers using the tram at Wimbledon are required only to touch-in at the beginning of their journey, therefore only entry counts are included in the results Data is only available for the last 8 weeks as TfL doesn't retain detailed tap level information beyond this period
We will publish out NUMBAT data for 2020 soon, which will include usage of Wimbledon by different mode.
If you are not satisfied with this response please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal.
Yours sincerely
