1. Does TfL pay bus drivers or involved in anyway paying bus drivers a financial incentive during nothing hill carnival?
(We note that Tower Transit pays their bus drivers a bonus on top of their wages for working during the carnival)
2. Are any other bus operators paying a bonus?
3. Is this bonus scheme, fund or grant?
4. Is this incentive written in tendering contracts that pass by Notting Hill carnival?
5. Or is this scheme solely run by Tower Transit which was negotiated by UNITE the Union with no involvement of TfL?
6. The 452 bus curtail's at Notting Hill gate, are the bus drivers awarded bonus?

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act and our information access policy.
Unfortunately we do not hold the information you have requested.
We do not pay the drivers, they are paid by the operating company. We tender the services out but each company has its own policies and salaries (including incentive payments to staff).
You can contact the operating companies if you would like insight into their pay/ bonus information. However, they are not subject to the FOIA and therefore aren’t obliged to provide this information.
