The percentage of cash-accepting car park ticket machines, which you are responsible for, that currently accept the new £1 coin. 2.If you do not currently have 100% compatibility, when do you estimate all cash-accepting car park ticket machines will be able to accept the new £1 coin. Please could you supply the above information to me via return email. If this request is too wide or unclear, I would be grateful if you could contact me as I understand that under the Act, you are required to advise and assist requesters. If any of this information is already in the public domain, please can you direct me to it, with page references and URLs if necessary. Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 11 September 2017 asking for information about car park ticket machines.

Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy. I can confirm that we do hold the information you require.

1.    The percentage of cash-accepting car park ticket machines, which you are responsible for, that currently accept the new £1 coin.

There are 155 cash accepting car park payment machines at London Underground stations, 100% of which accept the new £1 coin.

2. If you do not currently have 100% compatibility, when do you estimate all cash-accepting car park ticket machines will be able to accept the new £1 coin.

All of these car park payment machines now accept the new £1coin.
