Thank you for your email received by us on 6 September 2017 asking for information about Transport for London’s (TfL) website performance.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold the information you require. You asked for:

Performance levels of the TFL website between 7/6/17 and 10/6/17 specifically downtime and site repair time.

Performance levels of the TFL website specifically any downtime for repair, maintenance or up-dates between 7th June 2017 and 10th June 2017.

I can advise that our website had an availability of 100% during the requested period, with no downtime recorded across tfl.gov.uk..

Two incidents occurred during the requested period, which whilst not affecting site availability as a whole, applied to these areas:
1. Live London Underground and rail statuses briefly not shown between 12:54 and 14:00 on 9 June 2017, during which time such statuses were updated manually.
2. Penalty Charge Notice payment function unavailable between 16:24 and 16:36 on 9 June 2017.
Planned maintenance was also implemented during the requested period to the London Road User Charging (LRUC) services part of our website between 01:00 and 05:00.
