FOI request detail

Telecomms Commercialisation Project (TCP) bidder identity clarification

Request ID: FOI-1362-1920
Date published: 22 August 2019

You asked

On 19 July 2019, TFL published the identity of the 4 shortlisted bidders for the TCP, naming BAI Communications, Wireless Infrastructure Group, Cellnex UK, and "Axia SC Consortium" as shortlisted bidders. Regarding the last bidder, Axia SC Consortium, this is clearly not its full legal entity name, and despite extensive searches I have not been able to identify this bidder or its parent entities. It seems to me improper that in a public procurement process a bidder's identity should be so hidden. Could you please provide (i) the full legal entity name (and its place / country of registration) of the bidding entity 'Axia SC Consortium' and to the extent this is a special purpose vehicle, its parent companies' identities.
