I would like to request data on congestion charge penalty notices issued since the temporary changes to charges was introduced in June 2020. I would like to know the average of number of penalty notices issued per day of the week week since 16 June 2020. I am happy to receive the answer on a spreadsheet by day per week and to calculate the average myself if that is easier.

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 14^th October 2020 asking for information about the number of Penalty Charge Notices issued since 16^th June 2020.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. 

Specifically you asked:

I can confirm that we hold the information you require, which is provided in the attached spreadsheet. The data is provided by day from 16^th June 2020 as requested, but note that the chnages to the scheme were introduced on 22^nd June 2020. Note also that for the first two weekends following the changes we did not issue PCNs but sent warning letters instead.
