We answered
TfL Ref: 1331-1920
Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 1 August 2019 asking for information about risk assessments for Tube drivers when driving a train.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold the information you require.
Please find attached an example London Underground (LU) risk assessment for working in a train. Each LU train depot produces risk assessments for driving a train for the staff in their depot. We have attached an example risk assessment for the Northern line. All LU lines have risk assessments which are relevant to the Tube trains on that line. These risk assessments are developed with input from our trains teams, the Trades Unions Health and Safety representatives and our Health, Safety & Environment team.
If this is not the information you are looking for, or if you are unable to access it for any reason, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal as well as information on copyright and what to do if you would like to re-use any of the information we have disclosed.
Yours sincerely
