Under the FOI Act Has the Nissan Dynamo been given Permission to sell the Taxi Conversion without the Turning Circle of 25 ft and with no M1 certification ?

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 21 July 2018 asking for information about Taxis.

Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy. I can confirm that we do hold the information you require.

The Nissan taxi is not currently licensed by Transport for London (TfL) for use in London. We are working with the taxi manufacturer to bring a full electric taxi to market in London. The taxi will be required to meet the conditions of fitness (CoF), which includes M1 category ECWVTA and the manoeuvrability requirement.
