Dear sir/ma'am, I am writing a thesis on a comparative analysis of policies relevant to New Delhi and London's last-mile delivery segment and its electrification. I was having trouble finding data on micro vehicles (PLVs), Electric vans, and e-cargo bikes currently operational in the city of London. I realised most data banks were categorized on the basis of regions and not towns/cities. Could that data be provided to me or could some guidance be given on where I could find it? I have gone through a lot of files available on the website but haven't found anything specific to just London. Thank you for your time and consideration. Looking forward to your response.

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 14th July 2023 asking for information about micro vehicles (PLVs), Electric vans, and e-cargo bikes operational in London.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. 

Specifically you asked:

“I am writing a thesis on a comparative analysis of policies relevant to New Delhi and London's last-mile delivery segment and its electrification.

I am afraid that TfL does not hold such data. However, you may wish to view the Department for Transport (DfT) statistics on plug-in vehicles licensed in London, which can be found on its website here:

Sheet VEH0142 provides detailed information on plug-in vehicles (broken down by specific fuel type) listed by vehicle type and local authority area where they are registered. This includes Greater London and individual Boroughs. The most recent data is from Quarter 4 2022.
