I believe that there used to be a committee for motorcycle safety. Is this true and when was their last meeting and when is the next one.

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 17th September 2020 asking for information about motorcycle safety.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.
Specifically you asked:
“I believe that there used to be a committee for motorcycle safety. Is this true and when was their last meeting and when is the next one?”.
TfL does not have a “committee for motorcycle safety”. However, we are aware that the GLA’s Transport Committee has previously held specific hearings on motorcycle safety. More information and a report from March 2018 can be found on the GLA website here:

As you can see from that page, the next meeting of the Committee is due on 1st December 2020 (and a meeting is scheduled to take place today, 8th October).
