Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 20 July 2018 asking for information about digital advertising projectors.

Your request has been processed in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. You asked:

What temperature does the platform have to reach before the digital advertising projectors are suspended on the Liverpool Street & Bank platforms on the Central line?

This cannot be specified as the internal temperature of the projector also contributes to the projector’s measurements. As such there is an indirect correlation between the ambient temperature of the platform local to all projector’s and their automated shutdown.
