Meeting docs and terms of engagement for @TfLAccess
Request ID: FOI-1092-1718
Date published: 04 September 2017
You asked
'I note that one of the action points was to "Set up another meeting in 5-6 months' time to go over what was discussed here, review successes and determine what more needs to be done (Peter)" To me, it sounds like this follow-up meeting would review the action points, what action had been taken and what was still intended. Documents from that follow-up meeting would appear to be pertinent.'
I still think that the documents produced for / as a result of that meeting, i.e. agenda, minutes, action points, discussion papers and anything else, are likely to be of interest. Please can you provide them and the Terms of Engagement that applies to the @TfLAccess Twitter feed?

Thank you for your email received by us on 8 August 2017 asking for documentation.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm we hold some of the information you require. You asked for:

The meeting you have referred to did not occur and so we do not hold any documentation in relation to this, however we recently hosted an Accessibility Summit bringing together major technology organisations, mobile app developers and representatives from disability charities to improve information provision to customers with accessibility requirements. The summary pack can be viewed here: http://content.tfl.gov.uk/tfl-digital-partnerships-accessibility-summit-summary-deck.pdf. We are committed to improving accessibility information, be it through our own channels such as the website and Journey Planner or through channels such as third party mobile developers.
The Journey Planner Team (JPT) have also been working with the London Underground Control Centre (LUCC) to look at ways of improving step-free access information that is provided. As a result, LUCC have taken on the responsibility of communicating all live disruptions, both day and night, and the JPT have taken on the responsibility for planned works.
The new process is therefore one team (LUCC) managing all real-time lift closure information, which should lead to a reduction in discrepancies and improvement in the speed of information delivered to customers. This information will be disseminated through all of our customer communications channels at the same time providing consistent information.
I would be very much interested in those Terms of Engagement, please do provide them.
Please see the requested Terms of Engagement document for the @TfLAccess Twitter account attached.
If this is not the information you are looking for, or if you are unable to access it for some reason, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal as well as information on copyright and what to do if you would like to re-use any of the information we have disclosed.
Yours sincerely
