We answered

TfL Ref: 1056-2122

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 25 August 2021 asking for information about traffic count data around Victoria station.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.  I can confirm that we hold some of the information you require.

You asked: We are looking to calculate Annual Average Daily Traffic (AADT).  Do you have this already calculated or yearly average data? If not I was wondering whether it would be possible to extract traffic flow counts on the TLRN network for the following links around Victoria Station for the months April and/or May and/or June 2019.

Vauxhall Bridge Road (A202)
Neathouse Place
Bridge Place
A3213
Eccleston Street
Buckingham Palace Road (A3214)
Grosvenor Gardens (A3215)
Victoria Street (A302)
Bressenden Place (A302)
Lower Grosvenor Place (A302)
Grosvenor Place (A302)

Please see the 3 Automatic Traffic Counts (ATCs) attached that we have from the roads you’ve asked about. Their locations on a map is also shown in the attached file. We did not have any traffic surveys that were completed in this area in 2019. We also do not calculate our own AADTs.

Please note that the ATC data is from the patched database, with any patching being indicated in the “patched” column. This means that anytime the site was down due to technical issues / damage and no data was recorded we have patched the blanks with a estimate based of substitute values; this is done so as to make trend analysis possible.

If this is not the information you are looking for, or if you are unable to access it for any reason, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal as well as information on copyright and what to do if you would like to re-use any of the information we have disclosed.

Yours sincerely
