Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 13 July 2018 asking for information about Pride costs.

Your request has been processed in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm we do hold the information you requested. You asked:

Please advise as to the extra costs involved in transforming the stations (not notices) re Saturdays parade. I heard on the radio that several stations were being decorated specifically for the PRIDE event .

I only want the costs of this excluding the advertising.

Transport for London (TfL) is proud to support Pride and the LGBT+ community, celebrating the diversity of the capital and demonstrating that, whatever your sexual orientation or gender identity, you are welcome in London.  This year, stations across the network saw their roundels transformed with either a rainbow or pink, blue and white design (inspired by the trans flag). The roundels were at a number of locations across the network, including Tottenham Court Road Underground station, Vauxhall Underground station, Romford TfL Rail, and Embankment Pier. Shoreditch High Street Overground station was also transformed with rainbow and trans-inspired benches.

We have worked with some great suppliers and partners over the years to celebrate Pride. This year, this has included working with Arriva Rail London and Santander to support Pride and the LGBT+ community at no additional costs to our customers. The activity was funded from the revenue generated by utilising our commercial estate.

The cost for the Pride transformation is set out in the table below:
