And;
Case reference FOI-1076-2425:
“I write in regard to the A20 on ramp from Crittalls corner , Kent bound. There is a sign warning of slippery road contions, unfortunately this sign is somewhat obscured by a direction road sign and over hanging foliage giving the appearance that it has been discarded after use. Also I have noticed a lack of speed signs on the on ramp leading onto the A20, which thankfully has been rectified . Can please supply me with the date of the newly placed 40mph sign on the said on ramp and when will the work be completed.”
I can confirm that we hold the information you require.
The speed limit signage changes were made over three nights from 26 September 2023 under an Emergency Traffic Order in response to the serious safety risk posed by surface water flooding. We are not aware of any time when there was no signage present on the slip road. Visits to the site have been made and regular safety inspections help ensure that the signage remains visible. All such works ordered prior to and up to the 24th June 2024 are complete. The implementation of the permanent drainage remedial works are due to commence this summer (2024) and are to be completed by September 2024. Various
