Follow-on from FOI-0224-1718:
Is there any way I can get the same data (mileage travelled per week as a whole on the tram network and trams per day have had their journey/route cut short) between March 31 and today/closest date please?

Thank you for your e-mail received on 24 July 2017 asking for further information about tram mileage and journeys which have been cut short since 31 March 2017.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm we do hold the information you require.
Please see the attached information on the percentage of kilometres operated (which is also regularly published online at (https://tfl.gov.uk/corporate/publications-and-reports/trams-performance-data) and an overview of the reasons for lost kilometres per period. The scheduled kilometres are as follows:
Monday to Friday: 10,052
We have been running at 98.8% of scheduled services this financial year. The lost kilometres due to traffic congestion, loadings (i.e. passenger volumes) and service regulation has continued to be fairly consistent at just over 1000km per period, with the exception of period 2.
Several factors have affected performance, including the introduction of a new pedestrian crossing on Wellesley Road which has meant that most trams lost around 80 seconds on most journeys. We are planning a new time-table to take into account the current and additional speed changes but this is unlikely to be in place until later in the year.
