Dear Sir / Madam Transport for London are the owners of Shepherd’s Bush Market, Arches 155 to 191. TfL were managing Shepherd’s Bush Market prior to the date: 25th February 2014. Under the TfL leases for Arches 155 to 191, the leaseholders were under the obligation to acquire buildings Insurance (for fixtures and fittings) through Transport for London. Would you please state as to what the ‘Building Sum Insured Values’ and ‘Building Declared Values’ for each of the retail arch units in Shepherd’s Bush Market from Arch 155 to 191 from 2004 to 2014 were under the TfL Buildings Insurance Policies

Thank you for your email received by us on 23 July 2017 asking for information about the building sum insured values’ and ‘building declared values’ for Shepherd's Bush market Arches.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold some of the information you require. You asked:

Would you please state as to what the ‘Building Sum Insured Values’ and ‘Building Declared Values’ for each of the retail arch units in Shepherd’s Bush Market from Arch 155 to 191 from 2004 to 2014 were under the TfL Buildings Insurance Policies

Please see information attached in response to your request.

There was no information available in 2006/2007. It appears that there was no revaluation between 2010/11 to 2013/14, and we just declared the 2010/11 figures each year. Some tenants elected to arrange insurance themselves rather than relying on TfL’s policy.
