As I understand it, all Private Hire drivers must report any road accident that they are involved in to TfL within 14 days as a regulatory and license requirement. Please could you provide me with the stats referring to the number of these reported accidents there have been over the last 12 months? I would preferably like the figure based on a month by month basis but understand if they are broken down in other more manageable ways. Thank you.

Private hire vehicle owners are required, under the Private Hire Vehicles (London) Act 1998, to inform us of any collision materially affecting their vehicle within 72 hours. The full Act is available on our website: http://content.tfl.gov.uk/private-hire-vehicles-london-act-1998.pdf.
