You asked

Earlier this year, TfL carried out a public consultation regarding the proposed installation of CS9 (Cycle Superhighway 9). We answered

Our ref: FOI-0955-1819/GH

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 7 July 2018 asking for information about the public consultation regarding the proposed installation of CS9.

Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy.

I can confirm that we do hold the information you require. However, we intend to publish results of the consultation, including the postcode information requested, and therefore the information is exempt from disclosure in accordance with section 22 of the FOI Act which covers information intended for future publication.

We are currently in the process of analysing the consultation responses we have received. Following this analysis, a report will be published later in 2018 outlining the geographical location of respondents, postcode level of support, the issues raised by respondents and our response to the issues raised.

The use of this exemption is subject to a public interest test, which requires us to consider whether the public interest in applying the exception outweighs the public interest in disclosure. We recognise that the release of information would promote transparency and also help inform people about this project. However, we consider that the release of the information in its current form would not serve the public interest as the analysis is incomplete and could potentially be misleading. We consider that the public interest favours the use of the exemption at this time.

If you are not satisfied with this response please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal.

Yours sincerely
