Dear
TfL Ref: FOI-0914-1819
Thank you for your email received by Transport for London (TfL) on 3 July 2018. Please accept my sincere apology for the delay in providing you with our response.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm we hold some of the information you require. You asked:

Please find the attached information that was used to determine what level of service is required running east-west along Chiswick High Rd (between Chiswick Business Park and Hammersmith), and whether the withdrawal of route 27 would cause crowding on the remaining routes that serve this corridor. It represents the hourly passenger demand at the points specified. Attached are also various reports which show raw survey data from various dates which were used to determine the level of service. Please note the older data was generally not used for this but it’s included for sake of completeness.
Route 440 was not included in this analysis because it does not provide an east-west link along Chiswick High Rd. It only serves one pair of stops on this east-west corridor. For the analysis of westbound passenger demand we used stop CV at Turnham Green which is not served by route 440. For eastbound passenger demand we used stop DD, which is the only stop on Chiswick High Rd served by the 440 before it turns off northbound.
On Chiswick High Road at Turnham Green a maximum total of 15.6 bph is required compared with about 31 bph (double-deck equivalent) provided. Removing route 27 would still leave spare capacity on the corridor.

Between Hammersmith and Turnham Green, a maximum of 9.7 bph is required compared with 22.8 (double-deck equivalent) provided. Again, removing route 27 from this corridor would still leave enough capacity on the remaining routes.
