Thank you for your request received on 24 July 2021 asking for information about graffiti on Lambeth Bridge.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm we do hold the information you require. You asked:

When graffiti was last cleaned from Lambeth Bridge

Graffiti was last removed from Lambeth Bridge on 30 April 2021.
 
Details of reports of graffiti on the bridge since May 2021, and what happened to these reports –

No graffiti was reported after our inspections on the 6-7 May, 19–21 May, 4–7 June, 16–18 July and 4–9 August.
 
Can you also confirm the response from the graffiti team as to why it has taken so long to clean

Graffiti is only removed promptly if deemed offensive or safety critical.
 
Can you also confirm what you mean by deep clean

A deep clean means the entire bridge being cleaned in addition to any graffiti in place at the time being removed.
