Thank you for your request of 28th July 2021 asking for information about walking and cycling grant awards.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.
Specifically you asked:
“Could you please give me a breakdown of each project awarded a Walking and Cycling Grant from 2016 to 2020 and the amount each project received.”
I can confirm that we hold the information you require.
From 2016 to 2020 £2,025,147 was awarded to 219 projects by Cycling Grants London and Walking and Cycling Grants London, following the expansion of the programme to include walking in 2019. The attached spreadsheet provides a breakdown of the projects awarded and grant amounts over that period. We have also included information on e-bike funding that was distributed via the Cycling Grants London scheme in 2017.
