We answered
TfL Ref: FOI-0872-2122
Thank you for your request of 28th July 2021 asking for a copy of the Independent Disability Advisory Group (IDAG) minutes of 29th October 2020.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.
Specifically you asked:
“Please could you let me have the minutes of the meeting when they described your proposed plans floating bus stops as 'turds'?”
I can confirm that we hold the information you require. A copy of the minutes are attached. Note that the section of the minutes you are referring to relate to a draft ‘shard use bus boarder’ (SUBB) layout rather than floating bus stops (which are a different type of bus stop arrangement whereby the cycle track goes round the back of the bus stop - these are now well established as acceptable practice). TfL does not have any plans to construct shared use bus boarders at this time.
If this is not the information you are looking for, or if you are unable to access it for any reason, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal as well as information on copyright and what to do if you would like to re-use any of the information we have disclosed.
Yours sincerely,
