We answered

TfL Ref: FOI-0828-2122

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 26th July 2021 asking for information about roadworks on the A308.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.

Specifically you asked:

Please tell me the dates and duration of roadworks that have been carried out on the stretch of road known as the A308 Upper Sunbury Road or Thames Street or Hampton Court Road, Hampton, from its junction with the Lower Sunbury Road to the junction with A309 Hampton Court Bridge and include the utility companies involved in the works and the precise location within the A308. Please list for the past 24 months.”

TfL does not hold the information requested as the stretch of road in question is not part of the Transport for London Road Network (TLRN - sometimes known as the ‘red routes’ - more information about which can be found on our website here: https://tfl.gov.uk/modes/driving/red-routes).

I would suggest that you redirect your questions to the local authorities that manage these roads - Richmond Council and Surrey County Council (for Thames Street). FOI requests can be made via their websites here:

Please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal.
